Mechanical foot pedestals
The height of the AS CHV foot pedestal can be adjusted mechanically thus providing optimum support for the driver in different sitting positions.
The lifting height can be adjusted continuously within a defined range and is limited by stops at both end positions (top/bottom).
The AS CHV foot pedestal is driven by a gas spring and a spur gear. Its small installation dimensions mean that it can be installed in almost all vehicles.
The AS CHV foot pedestals are reliable, low-maintenance units which provide the driver with a fatigue-free and hence safe sitting position.
Electric foot pedestals
The height of AS CHV foot pedestals can be adjusted electrically thus providing optimum support for the driver' sitting positions.
The lifting height can be adjusted continuously within a defined range and is limited at both end positions (top/bottom) by limit switches. The Vario foot pedestal is driven by a 24V DC gear motor with a self-inhibiting worm gear.
The small installation dimensions mean that it can be installed in almost all vehicles. The foot pedestal can be equipped with different control elements / foot switches (e.g. dead man's handle, horn or full beam headlamp).
The Vario foot pedestals have been endurance-tested under extreme test conditions (25,000 full strokes with a load of 30 kg) and proved to be low-maintenance / maintenance-free units which provide the driver with a fatigue-free and hence safe sitting position.
The footplate can be swivelled to meet the rigorous safety requirements and ensure simple cleaning.
